A project of restoration and conservation of a prestigious building of the Bund, the old port area of the colonial city of Shanghai, was developed last year, in collaboration with the Association AREA (network of professionals operating in the field of restoration and conservation) and the Chinese construction company Kanjii. 

The project involved the recovery of a valuable internal and external nineteenth-century building, bought from an Italian brand of fashion that will make office and showroom for their collections. 

The intervention was a prerequisite for participation in the tender for the award of the work of recovery and restoration, completed in June 2013. 

It was a very positive example of synergy between Chinese architects and engineers, Italian restorers and professionals, in order to create a high quality project.
