Milan’s gate in pavia

Milan gate is the main road, which connect Pavia to Milan, the ancient road next to Naviglio Channel, a project made by Leonardo da Vinci. It is actually made entirely in stone, on the top of the two buildings, two statues which represents Ticino River and Po River, the two rivers which are connected to Milan by Naviglio channel.

Before our restoration, the gate was in poor condition. We cleaned and grouted the stone, recovering ancient aesthetic values. At the end we set a protective film to guarantee a long term quality result.
